Starting on Monday, October 1st, the BCHOA is scheduled to start the culvert replacement project on N. Beau Chene Drive (between the driveways of Lake Villas I and Lake Villas II Condominiums). Starting early Monday morning (between 7:30 am and 8:00 am) we will be closing a section of the roadway in both directions. This section will remain closed approximately two to three days to perform the work. During road closures, all condominium driveways will be accessible for residents. There will be NO Thru Traffic on this section of N. Beau Chene Drive.
The work will include:
- Removal of the asphalt road and old culverts.
- Installation of new polymer coated metal culverts.
- Fill in and pack with limestone and clay material and allow to compact. During compaction the roads will be fully opened again.
- The final step is to replace the asphalt roadway during our 2018 scheduled asphalt repaving project planned to commence later in October or early November.
All work progress will be subject to weather conditions. Residents and guests will need to plan their routes around the work area. The work area will be identified with road signs indicating road closure and detours.
